Getting protein from a variety of sources is good for your gut.

But we often get in a rut and stick to the same old things.

If you haven’t tried something new for awhile, go explore the wide variety of protein sources out there.

Getting enough protein on a daily basis is essential for your overall health. Healthy sources of protein include eggs, nuts, lean meats, fish, dairy, and certain grains.

Here are 16 delicious foods that are high in


  • Eggs

  • Almonds

  • Chicken breast

  • Cottage Cheese

  • Lentils

  • Greek Yogurt

  • Lean Beef (bison or venison as well)

  • Fish

  • Quinoa

  • Protein Powders

  • Ezekiel Bread

  • Pumpkin seeds

  • Turkey Breast

Eating is something that consumes a huge part of our day and life, it should have variety and benefits! Trying new things and combos....

Some of my favorite alternatives and easy go tos are:

  • Protein balls (i use Elevate protein powder)

  • Greek yogurt or cottage cheese w/1 scoop protein powder, fruit and oats

  • Ground turkey, mixed veggies and seasoning
