A year ago, almost to the day, I met with Michelle to talk about what she did with AmpedLifestyle. I had considered joining a public gym, but had no idea what to do or how to start a strength program once I got there.
I went home that day feeling like this could be exactly what I needed. But this would be an “investment” in me, myself and I…was I worth it? A few days later my husband asked me what I would like for Christmas. I said “I want to start working out with a personal trainer”.
Michelle has been exactly what I was looking for and what I needed! She set up my program for what “I” wanted to achieve, my goals, my outcomes. Starting out at the level I was currently at, which was ground zero. My first goal was to be able to do a push-up again. It was a work in progress, but I achieved my goal which only made me want to set more goals. Michelle explains the lift, the movement, the reason you’re doing what you’re doing. Heck, she’ll even get in there and do the moves with you! She asks “how’d that feel? Was the weight too heavy, too light?” She understands that ‘some days you can and some days you can’t’, and it’s a work in progress.
I’m now a better person, wife, mother, daughter, just plain old “better” than I have been in years. By far one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself.
I had never worked with a trainer before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve been working with Michelle for seven months now. She has kept me motivated and is pushing hard to get me into the best shape possible. I know it is a long road, but it will be worth it in the end. Michelle is a certified coach and is very knowledgeable about all fitness levels. She has given me the best tips to help me reach my fitness goals and do things I never thought possible.

I've been working out with Michelle on and off for over a year now. I've had some health issues that have made me take some long breaks but through that time I fell I've gained more strength and balance than I have ever had. I have back and knee issues and Michelle really works with me to find the right exercises for my body, which I'm sure can be challenging.
I've gained so much from the past year and hope to gain more in the coming year. My goals are to get stronger, particularly in my back and legs, and work on my balance. Michelle pushes you to do more than you think you can but not so much that you'll hurt yourself, and she really tailors each workout to the individual.
